October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and its a subject close to my heart. In the U.K  over 47,000 women and 300 men were diagnosis with breast cancer last year. regardless of age, gender, size or shape to so important to take care of your breasts and to notice any changes that happen to them.... There are hundreds of amazing websites out there that can give you support, in-depth information and help with everything you need to know but I thought I would put together a quick guide as to how to check yourself ,signs & symptoms and then you know what you are looking for..... Stockings can enhance almost any lingerie outfit but good quality stockings can be quite pricey and yet they are a delicate item, which you have to take great care to make them last as long as possible. Here are our tips on how to look after these lovely items….. Hand Wash NEVER put your stockings into washing machine. Hand wash in warm water with mild or better specialized lingerie soap then air dry, do not put into dryer as the heat will destroy elastane in the stockings. Use a towel to air dry your stockings and keep them from heat sources including direct sunlight or radiators. Store Carefully Stockings should properly stored in individual containers or bags to prevent tangling. Fold them carefully and keep them away from the bras and other lingerie because these could metallic details, hooks and jewels that can damage delicate stockings fabrics causing ladders or holes. Wearing the wrong size bra can cause great discomfort! we have already done a  Bra Size Guide  in September! There are several signs that you maybe wearing the wrong size or your bra doesn't fit! Use our 5 tips to help you decide if your bra is the wrong size and help you be comfortable in your bras and help you choose lingerie that fits... 1. Your Bra is riding up your back.... If the back of your bra is riding up it means the back band is too big it is riding up because of the weight of your breasts. Try going down a size. 2.  Your  Shoulder straps are dig in.... If your straps dig in your shoulders, try another bra with wider straps or try a bra with a smaller or bigger cups.  3.Breasts bulging out of the cups.... This is an indication your bra cups are to small try going up a cup size! if your bra is wrinkling it indicates your bra cups are to big so try going down a cup. 4. Recent research has found that 2 out of 3 of women are wearing the wrong size bra!! here is our 3 step simple and quick guide to finding out your size.... First of all grab a measuring tape! Step 1:- Your Bra Size First of all measure around your body under your bust then you need to add 4 inches (10cm) if you have measured an even number or 5 inches (12.5cm) if it odd. so for example if you measure 32 inches around your body then add 4 inches your back measurement will be 36! Step 2:- Your Cup Size This time you need to measure around the fullest part of your bust to get the cup size measurement. Most lingerie is expensive, delicate you love it and you want to keep it looking prefect! Some People will lovingly hand wash their lingerie this is of course the best way to keep you lingerie looking amazing! But not everyone has the time to sit and washing all our smalls by hand! So the washing machine is the way forward! Be sure to look at the label inside to make sure you can machine wash it first then if you haven’t already invest in a lingerie wash bag to keep you lingerie separate and to stop it being damaged by rougher materials and protects your machine from stray escaped bra wires and or embellishments that have accidently fallen off!  Remember to use good washing power/tablets & softener!
