Diana Dors was a British actress in the 1950's She often played characters suffering from unrequited love, perhaps an unfortunate parallel to her private life. By the mid 1950s, Dors was known as "the English Marilyn Monroe."
A talented actress who was destined never to be fully utilised her talent with most of her later work is made up of sex-themed comedies which bordered on soft porn at times! However this didn't stop her at the age of 20 being the youngest registered owner of a Rolls Royce in the UK.
